Membership

Ordinary Members

Ordinary members shall be a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, social worker, psychologist, medical laboratory professional and other health care professionals studying or working in the field of HIV and is registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia or equivalent professional body in another country and whose membership have been approved by the Board.

Associate Members

Associate members shall be a professional person who has a professional or business relationship with the Society and whose memberships have been approved by the Board. Associate members shall have no voting rights

Corporate members

Corporate membership shall be open to Societies with similar aims and objectives as the Society and have undertaken to support the aims and objectives of the Society and abide by the principles of the Society and whose membership have been approved by the Board.

Honorary Members

Horary membership shall be conferred upon a person who has distinguished himself or herself in the field of health profession or other professions and whose membership has been recommended by the Board to the General Meeting and approved by a majority of not less than two third of the General Meeting voting by secret ballot.

Reciprocity Member

Reciprocity membership shall be conferred by the Board upon bona fide visiting members from other Societies with similar aims and objectives who are visiting Namibia for a period not exceeding six months.
